Stealing stuff from other blogs

Well, that's what the blogsphere is for, isn't it? As long as you let them know you've swiped it. Here's a meme I half-inched from The Old Fart (thanks for the comment on the last post!) who filched it from Dr John (thanks for the comment on my last post, and mention in today's post on your blog) who had taken it from Margaret (thanks for the comment on my last post) and who had mentioned this meme (Old Fart that is) in a post on plagiarism.

I had great difficulty thinking of synonyms for stealing in that short paragraph above as well as trying to get the syntax right so that you realised the end of the sentence after all those parentheses was again about The Old Fart, in the end i had to give up, as you can tell.

Definitely time for bed, once I've done this meme...

1.Four jobs I have had in my life:
Barman
Spare rib ribcage cutter upper (yeuchhhh - but fun at the time)
telephone market researcher (NOT sales!)
Dishwasher at Wimbledon tennis tournament and (that same summer) dishwasher at movie studio

2.Four Movies I have watched over and over:
The Matrix
Galaxy Quest
Taxi (the French version - though I've seen the US remake a couple of times too)
Pink Panther (various, couldn't narrow it down to any one)

3. Four places I have lived:
South Kensington, London
Honiton, Devon
Middlesbrough, Cleveland
Cambridge, Cambridgshire

4. Four TV shows I love to watch:
24
Star Trek (scary isn't it)
CSI - all of them
Battlestar Galactica (new version)

5. Four places I have been on vacation:
Amsterdam (actually, lots of the Netherlands, on a motorbike)
Bergerac, France
New England (best bit - Boston, Mass)
New York (wow)

6. Four of my favorite foods:
Steak (sorry, unrepentant meat eater here)
Custard
Porridge
Bacon

7. Four places I would rather be right now:
In bed (shortly to be the case)
In Bergerac (we have a share in a house there that I love)
New York
Playing guitar (too late for that)

Another glimpse into the strange world that is mine...

That meme certainly ghets around . Margaret had it because she was tagged by some friend. You were Batman. I stand in awe.

I'm with you on 24, Star Trek (from the days of Capt. Kirk) and The Matrix!

We used to think the Pink Panther movies were hysterical. Then we rented them because we had always told our children they were a riot. Somehow, they weren't quite as funny, over 20 years later.

Hey, I just found your blog, and I realized that you could be a pretty vast database about doing ministry in England. I am from Ohio in the US and I want to know as much as I can about doing international ministry. Some of my friends are doing Young Life ministry in England and they tell me that it is a predominantly un-churched country. I want to know more though. What kinds of programs work? How does your church work? What do people think of God? Anyways I have tons of questions... My email is www.felhdues@gmail.com please contact me.

Hey! If I forget to add you to my link list-- once I get around to it--leave a comment to remind me or drop me an email. I MUST have a minister of 6 villages on my list!

I can only take CSI Las Vegas. The lead guy in Miami just talks to slow and seems so FAKE and the NY version is just too slick for me.
